My Approach

My practice is built on three principles: gentleness, collaboration, and honest expectation-setting. I do not believe in dramatic claims or instant fixes. What I do believe — and what my clients consistently experience — is that when someone is genuinely ready to change, hypnotherapy can be a remarkably effective tool for helping that change happen at a deeper level than conscious effort alone can reach.

I specialise in anxiety, stress, and sleep difficulties because these are the areas where I have seen the most consistent and meaningful results. Modern life creates conditions that are almost designed to produce anxiety — the constant connectivity, the comparison culture, the relentless pace. I work with clients to understand exactly what is driving their particular experience, and to build a genuinely personalised response to it.

I take continuing professional development seriously and am committed to staying current with the broader evidence base for psychological wellbeing. My approach draws on cognitive hypnotherapy, solution-focused techniques, and current understanding of the neuroscience of habit and emotional regulation.

Why I Became a Hypnotherapist

My route into hypnotherapy was not straightforward, but it was deliberate. After experiencing first-hand how persistent anxiety can resist conventional approaches and yet respond remarkably well to hypnotherapy, I became deeply curious about the mechanisms behind that change. I trained rigorously, supervised extensively, and over time built a practice that I am genuinely proud of — one where clients are treated as intelligent adults who deserve honest, thoughtful, and effective care. My goal in every session is simply to help the person in front of me make the change they came to make.
